The Hidden Cogs

For many people the world of work ends at 5pm. However for some, often unsung, as daylight fades work is only just beginning. As well as a personal challenge as an introduction to night photography, this project aims to document the relatively unknown world of the night shift. Whether inherent to the work or as a second job, night shifts are often unseen and unsung, yet crucial to the smooth running of the world we all know.
